BREAKING: 3 Children Killed in Long Neck House Fire

Long Neck, De. (DELMARVA NEWS NOW) — Delaware State Police and the State Fire Marshal’s Office have launched a joint death investigation into a house fire in the Pot Nets Development in Long Neck that left three children dead.

Police say the fire started around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at a residence on Scarp Street. When first responders arrived the home was engulfed in flames. One child was safely removed from the residence by a parent and treated then released at Beebe Medical Center.

Three children died in the house fire. The state Division of Forensic Science will conduct an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of death.
