Delaware Governor John Carney has announced additional restrictions intended to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Governor says indoor gatherings in homes will be limited to 10 people. Indoor gatherings outside of homes including weddings, worship services, performances, political gatherings, and events in public spaces including fire halls will be limited to 30 percent of the fire capacity limits, with up to a 50 people limit. Outdoor public gatherings are limited to 50 people.
Governor Carney also announced that restaurants and bars won’t be allowed to operate at more than 30 percent of the fire capacity indoors, but additional outdoor seating will be permitted.
The additional restrictions will go into effect at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 23.
