The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the cause of a Wednesday evening fire at a Salisbury home is unknown and remains under investigation.
The blaze broke out around 10:40 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Onley Road in Salisbury, initially discovered by the Salisbury University Police Department. The one story, wood frame, single family dwelling was vacant at the time of the fire. It took crews with the Salisbury Fire Department about 15 minutes to get the fire under control. No injuries were reported.
