Joe Biden Elected 46th President of the United States

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has been elected the 46th President of the United States.

Biden will be the first President from the state of Delaware, the oldest President ever elected and only the sixth candidate to defeat an incumbent President. Vice President Elect Kamala Harris, currently a U.S. Senator from California will become the first female Vice President of the United States and the first black and first Indian-American to serve as Vice President.

Biden won Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes, according to projections by ABC News, CBS News, NBC News and CNN. That places him at 273 electoral votes, according to major news organizations’ decision desks.
