Students Move In for Salisbury University’s 2019-20 School Year

Salisbury, Md. (DELMARVA NEWS NOW) — Thousands flowed into Salisbury on Thursday for Salisbury University’s 2019 Move In day.

Orientation took place earlier this month, and now students are sending the day moving into University housing along Camden Avenue in South Salisbury. Students and their families were spotted moving in their belongings, walking around campus and visiting the SU Bookstore throughout the day.

Salisbury University Police issued a traffic advisory on Camden Avenue between College Avenue and Pine Bluff Road, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Salisbury City Police detouring Camden Avenue through traffic onto U.S. Route 13.

University officials say approximately 1,200 new students moved in today.
